This piece captures the last bits of light during the day, post dusk is one of the most peaceful moments; everything seems to sit still and settle right before nightfall comes. The vibrant purples and blues exaggerate the depth within the colours of the clouds. The piece is of the canal in west Slaithwaite, alongside the canal is the river Colne which runs through all of West Yorkshire.
