This piece demonstrates the beauty of the colours seen at dawn, ranging from subtle pinks and oranges to a deep sky blue and hints of purples. The painting captures a small village in west Yorkshire called Marsden. When I saw this view in real life it was the morning after a storm during summer. The sun rise was around quarter to 5AM.
